Entering her 10th season in the WNBA, Cappie Pondexter was traded from the New York Liberty to the Chicago Sky for Epiphanny Prince in one of the WNBA's biggest blockbuster deals ever. As she settled back into her hometown of Chicago, Pondexter brought with her experience and veteran leadership to an up-and-coming Sky team. Feeling healthy and rejuvenated, she averaged enjoyed her best shooting season in three years, averaging over fifteen points a game on her way to being voted to her seventh all-star game in August.
