EAST LANSING, Mich. — Joe Grello and Mike VanBrill enter the Big Ten Championships needing to outwrestle their (lack of a) seed to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
Rutgers coach Scott Goodale believes they can do it. Their results this season suggest it’s possible too. If one or either can make a major statement here, it could be a very good weekend for the Scarlet Knights at the Breslin Center.
“They can compete with anyone, and they can get hot and pick someone off,” Goodale said earlier this week. “It happens every year at this tournament.
