As compared to the 2016 New Jersey recruiting class, the 2017 class may not be as deep from top to bottom. However, the offensive and defensive linemen might have better overall talent.Among thenotable members of the 2017 class is defensive lineman Owen Bowles.
The Cedar Creek High School (Egg Harbor, NJ) standout is just starting to tap into his talent. Several schools have taken notice and have extended offers. Bowles’ offer list currently consists of Buffalo, Monmouth, Central Florida, Virginia, Temple and Rutgers. The recruiting process has only just started for Bowles who has only visited Temple and Rutgers along with his teammate (and Rutgers legacy) Bo Melton.
