The hype around Rutgers freshman wide receiver Bo Melton just reached new heights.
So did Melton's sneakers.
In a short video that went viral among Rutgers fans this weekend, Melton slam-dunked over top of a defender in front of the basketball hoop that sits inside the Rutgers football team meeting room at the Hale Center.
Coach Chris Ash keeps the basketball hoop -- which is not at college basketball regulation height -- and several balls in the room to promote competition and fun among his players.
A year ago, Ash went 1-on-1 with Quanzell Lambert in a memorable video for fans.
