WASHINGTON -- Seeking its first ever Big Ten Tournament win, Rutgers, led by guard Corey Sanders and forward Deshawn Freeman, will meet Ohio State, paced by juniors Jae'Sean Tate, in an opening-round game on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 (3/8/17), at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C.
The last time Rutgers and Ohio State met, the game was tied with 79 seconds to play before the Buckeyes pulled away in the final minute.
"I think we are learning how to win,'' Rutgers coach Steve Pikiell said following the 70-64 setback on Feb.
