PISCATAWAY – Two firsts will collide Thursday as Rutgers and the Big Ten Conference make joint history.
The inaugural six-team, three-round Big Ten Tournament for women’s lacrosse will be held at High Point Solutions Stadium, marking the first time that Rutgers will host a league-wide event for its new peers.
Placing a tournament at Rutgers in its first year as a member was “important to both Rutgers and the Big Ten,” athletics director Julie Hermann told Gannett New Jersey.
