Best of B1G: How many of top 10 N.J. players for Rutgers football? What other schools?

PISCATAWAY – New Jersey is definitely Big Ten country.

There are 87 natives of the Garden State — a challenging recruiting hotbed — listed on the rosters for the 14 Big Ten football teams.

Penn State ranks second with 14 New Jerseyans, while Northwestern is the surprise third most-popular home with seven New Jerseyans.
