Artur Sitkowski has entered the NCAA transfer portal. The junior quarterback made the announcement via Twitter on Friday.
Sitkowski has tested the transfer portal once before. In 2019, Sitkowski entered the portal but was persuaded to stay in Piscataway once the Scarlet Knights hired Greg Schiano as head coach.
The former four-star recruit in the Class of 2018 was named the starting quarterback for Rutgers as a freshman. He struggled mightily completing just 49.4% of his passes. Sitkowski totaled 1,158 yards with four touchdowns and 18 interceptions. However, he showed improvement in 2019 before redshirting the rest of that season after head coach Chris Ash and offensive coordinator John McNulty were fired after four games.
