No matter what happens for the rest of his career, here's a distinction that will keep Artur Sitkowski in Rutgers' notes forever.
Sitkowski, who was tapped by Rutgers coach Chris Ash on Friday as the Scarlet Knights' starting quarterback, will be the 10th QB in school history to start a game as a true freshman.
Frank Burns, in 1945, was the first and Gary Nova, in 2011, was the most recent.
From 1946 through 1980, no true freshmen started games at quarterback for Rutgers.
