Anthony Ashnault will be back on the mat for the first time since last season this weekend at the U.S Open in Las Vegas.
The three-time Rutgers All-American will be one of eight wrestlers with Scarlet Knight ties scheduled to compete this weekend in the Open and the United World Wrestling Junior Nationals, which are being wrestled at the South Point Hotel starting Thursday.
Ashnault will compete at 65 kilograms in the senior men's freestyle tournament against a field that features his former Ohio State rival Logan Stieber, a four-time national champion, as well as the Buckeyes' Joey McKenna, a Blair Academy product.
