Head coach Greg Schiano had a pretty good holiday weekend. One day after leading Rutgers to an upset win on the road against Purdue, Kansas State transfer Joshua Youngblood announced his commitment to the program.
As a true freshman during the 2019 season, Youngblood had three kickoff returns for touchdowns and averaged 35.9 yards per return for the Wildcats, which would have led the country if he had enough attempts. He earned Big XII Special Teams Player of the Year and earned All-America honors.
The Tampa, Florida native was a 3-star recruit in the 2019 class and attended Berkeley Prep.
