Rutgers long snapper Alan Lucy announced on Twitter on Monday night that he is planning to transfer from the program.
The Georgia native played three consecutive seasons as the primary long snapper for Rutgers during the 2014, 2015, and 2016 campaigns. However, he lost his job to true freshman Billy Taylor before the start of last season and did not see any action. He was able to redshirt and per his tweet, is set to graduate from Rutgers in May. He will be eligible to play next season at the FBS level as a graduate transfer.
