Justice has been served. A day after the Big Ten snubbed Rutgers punter Adam Korsak for its Special Teams Player of the Week, fans across college football righted a wrong by voting for the sophomore from Australia as the Ray Guy Punter of the Week Award. Late Tuesday morning, Korsak was announced the winner of the fan vote, as well as from the Augusta Sports Council and the Ray Guy Award, making it a unanimous decision.
Korsak punted 10 times during the Rutgers game against Iowa for a total of 476 yards. He averaged 47.6 yards for his gross average and finished with a net of 46.
