A goalie for the ages
Casey Murphy missed the 2016 Rutgers season because, well, because she’s too good.
Spoiler alert: she still is. After playing on the U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team at the U-20 FIFA World Cup in Papua New Guinea last year, Murphy will be back in goal for the Knights. And she was just named the top collegiate goalkeeper by Top Drawer Soccer heading into the 2017 season.
