For the third time in four years under head coach Kyle Flood, Rutgers (1-0) opened the season with a victory, this time notching a 63-13 victory over visiting Norfolk State (0-1). 1. RU’s quarterback situation is still unsettled. As expected, the Scarlet Knights played both of its leading quarterbacks in the opener against NSU. Hayden Rettig was 9-for-11 for 110 yards, one passing TD and one rushing TD.
