Rutgers bounced back, as was expected.
The No. 23 Scarlet Knights rolled Hofstra, 40-3, on Friday night on Long Island, winning nine of 10 bouts and picking up bonus points in five of them. It wasn't a surprise, but it was something to get out of the way following an upset loss to now-No. 21 Utah Valley last weekend at the Journeyman Duals.
Head coach Scott Goodale tied his predecessor, John Sacchi, for the most wins in school history. He won't be able to break for a while, though, as Rutgers is about to hit a bit of a lull in its schedule.
