Standing 6-6, 240-pounds, Dylan Deveney is long and has some great physical tools that translate to the FBS level of play. And he'll utilize those tools as a tight end at Rutgers.
"It was a combination of everything," he told NJ.com, Wednesday. "It's close to home, academics, Big Ten football, the atmosphere, the offense, everything."
Wednesday, Deveney called Rutgers head coach Chris Ash and pledged his commitment to his 2019 class. Although a qualifier, Deveney will honor his post-graduate year at the Hun (Princeton, N.J.), where he will play both football and basketball, keeping him in Princeton for an entire year.
