Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, N.Y.) athlete Atrilleon Williams has decommitted from Rutgers, he confirmed with NJ Advance Media Sunday night, following an unofficial visit to Syracuse this weekend.
"I feel like I've rushed into things because of my knee, but now I feel very confident about my knee and would like to explore different options," Williams told NJ.com, Sunday night. "I told coach Bill (Busch). He was disappointed, but he respected my decision."
Despite coming off an ACL injury, Williams is potentially New York's top junior athlete. The explosion Williams displayed prior to his injury provide reason for optimism for a fruitful recruitment.
