Rutgers football picked up their fourth commitment of the 2018 class tonight, as California quarterback Sean Chambers announced his intentions to the program.
Chambers visited Rutgers last weekend and was very positive about the program on social media. The QB earned an offer from offensive coordinator Jerry Kill back in May when the coach visited him out west. Ultimately, Chambers decided to commit just one week after his recent visit. The Kerman, California native reportedly held offers from Hawaii and Wyoming, in addition to Rutgers, according to 247 Sports. While he isn’t highly rated, Kill obviously sees potential in the 6’3” quarterback, who has started at Kerman high school the past two seasons.
