Friday has come and gone and with it the recruitment of two of Rutgers' top targets -- one on each side of the ball.
The first to come of the board was Josh McKenzie, a 5-9, 195-pound three-star running back out of Bergen Catholic (Oradell, N.J.), who was coached by running backs coach Nunzio Campanile before his ascension to Rutgers in January, where he'd hoped for the opportunity to continue coaching his former pupil. However, the allure for a top Ivy League education at Yale topped the allure of the other 14 programs to offer, including Rutgers, which most had as the favorite down the stretch up until the last week or so.
