Rutgers’ reward for its first Big Ten win? How about the Big Ten’s first-place team? The road for the Scarlet Knights doesn’t get any easier, as they travel to College Park, Md., for a Tuesday night meeting with Maryland (17-2, 5-1 Big Ten). Maryland entered the week ranked No. 25 in both major polls, and figure to move up after four straight wins, including road triumphs over Illinois and Iowa.

Rutgers coach Steve Pikiell notched his first Big Ten win Saturday, as the Scarlet Knights (12-8, 1-6 B1G) rallied from five points down with less than two minutes to play and upset Nebraska, 65-64, triumph on Saturday before 6,294 fans at the Rutgers Athletic Center.
