Zero Tennessee Players Selected in NFL Draft for First Time Since 1963

After Texas suffered the same embarrassment in 2014, Tennessee football had a very bad couple days at the 2015 NFL Draft as zero Volunteer players were among the 256 selections.

It was the first time since 1963 that no Tennessee players were selected. This is a direct result of the underwhelming job Derek Dooley did on the recruiting trail as the Vols head coach from 2010-2012.

With Texas and Tennessee now headed in the right directions under new head coaches, both fan bases will attempt to erase these moments from their memories.
