Remember the story about the guy that caught Alex Rodriguez’s 3000th career hit. He wanted an absurd amount from the Yankees and A-Rod in order to give the ball back. When we couldn’t understand why this guy was being so tough (besides natural greed with how much that ball will be worth), the world was introduced to Zack Hample.
Hample is a “baseball collector” and an author of three books. Hample’s most famous book though is his first one, titled “How to Snag Major League Baseballs”. You see Hample is the owner of over 8,500 baseballs that he has acquired from 51 major league parks since 1990.
