Yesterday, we wrote an article regarding Zack Hample acquiring over 8,500 baseball at 51 different major league parks, including yesterday at Yankee Stadium. Yesterday’s baseball, given to him by Chasen Shreve, was the 1,168th time in a row that he has gone to a baseball game and received a ball. The article also mentioned how Hample refused to give up A-Rod’s 3,000th hit baseball. We were harsh on Hample and felt it would be the right thing to do to give Zack the opportunity to response. We reached out to Hample this morning and he was gracious enough to write the piece below.
