Not since Michigan’s Chris Webber called a timeout that his team didn’t have have I felt this sorry for young basketball player. Vanderbilt’s Matthew Fisher-Davis, with his team up by 1 and 14 seconds remaining, somehow thought it would be wise to intentionally foul Vandy’s Bryant McIntosh as he moved up the court.
The two gift free throws gave Northwestern a 67-66 lead.
a mistake foul by Fisher on Vandy cost them the game to Northwestern. gotta feel bad for him pic.twitter.com/Fpkf55EwQA
So Vandy inbounds and puts up a long three to try and win it.
