Who’s Next? Taking A Look At the Longest Playoff Droughts

It proved especially awkward to tweet, considering it had literally never been done so before, at least not seriously, but the Edmonton Oilers clinched a playoff berth. When the NHL playoffs start up in a few weeks, the Oilers will play in a postseason game since the 2006 Stanley Cup Final.

With the Oilers’ streak of futility finally over, we take a look at the new longest futility stricken teams in the four major sports at the moment, and who will be the first to bring relief to their poor, poor fans.
