Unsatisfied with how things have started in their series against the Winnipeg Jets, the Edmonton Oilers are making substantive changes to their starting lineup ahead of Game 3 in Winnipeg.
Aging (and slowing) veterans Alex Chiasson and James Neal are two marquee names out of the lineup, as is underwhelming Dominik Kahun. The trio is being replaced by Tyler Ennis, Devin Shore, and Gaetan Haas. Shore and Ennis each put up nine points this season in 38 and 30 games, respectively. Haas chipped in with six points in 34 games.
Zack Kassian and Ryan McLeod were promoted to the second line and will be skating next to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins in Game 3.
