Week 17 Will Likely be Adam Gase’s Final Game As Head Coach of the New York Jets

Well, Adam Gase’s time as Head Coach of the New York Jets appears to mercifully be coming to an end. Bleacher Report tweeted that the Jets plan on parting ways with Gase after their season-ending game against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

The Jets, who were winless through Week 14, appeared on track to end the season winless and draft Trevor Lawrence first overall in the upcoming NFL draft. That is until Gase kiboshed that by winning two games in a row. The Jets shocked the football world when they won as +17.5 point underdogs in Week 15 against the Los Angeles Rams before running over an undermanned Cleveland Browns squad in Week 16.
