Sammy Watkins is signing a one-year $6 million contract with the Ravens. Watkins had played the last three seasons with the Chiefs, where he could never stay healthy for an entire season. His best campaign for the Chiefs came in 2019, where he played 14 games, caught 52 passes for 673 yards, and scored three times. The Ravens will be the fourth team (Bills and Rams) that Watkins has played for in eight NFL seasons.
Watkins may be a consolation prize for the Ravens as they were said to be in the running for Kenny Golladay, who signed with the Giants, and Juju Smith-Schuster, who returned to Pittsburgh.
