The college scene was dominated by two things in the spring of 2009: Davidson star Steph Curry and Asher Roth’s party anthem, “I Love College.”
That May, a few intrepid Davidson students produced a cover of the song as an ode to a campus dining hall, “I Love Commons,” that features a rapping cameo from a young Curry. It was pretty silly and six years later, is painfully dated (do you remember who Asher Roth is?), but it resurfaced this week on the eve of Curry’s first NBA Finals appearance and is worth a watch.
