WATCH: Pat Connaughton Records 44-inch Vertical at Combine, Second-Highest Ever

The NBA Draft Combine doesn’t garner nearly as much attention as its NFL counterpart, but Pat Connaughton admirably tried changing that.

On Thursday, the 6-foot-5 former Notre Dame guard/forward recorded an insane 44-inch vertical leap, tied for second-highest all-time at the combine.

Based on those at the top of the list, proficiency in this drill doesn’t necessarily guarantee NBA success (it really doesn’t), but Connaughton deserves credit where credit is due.

Apparently at least some white men can jump.

Pat Connaughton out of Notre Dame set the bar for this year’s #NBADraftCombine vertical leap.
