Not all soccer hooligan fights are crimes of passion: sometimes you get your mates together for a nice walk in the woods to meet another gang which you’ve scheduled for a brawl.
That was the case with Nancy and Feyenoord supporters this past weekend. The two groups have had bad blood between them since a UEFA Cup match in 2006 — yes, 10 years ago. So instead of facing police and club bans when their teams play, they agreed to meet at a neural spot and just pound each other.
Feyenoord, the Dutch side, were thrown out of competition due to brawling in 2006.
