Florida is the best softball team in the land once again, winning its second-straight NCAA championship on Wednesday. Unfortunately over the last year they didn’t learn how to perfect the art of the Gatorade bath.
Following the team’s victory over Michigan two Gators attempted to give head coach Tim Walton a Gatorade bath. This being the University of Florida, the birthplace (and namesake) of Gatorade, one might assume they’d be pretty good at it. Well, one might be wrong.
The players scooted around a post-game interview (in what looked like a game of “Duck, Duck, Goose” gone wrong) before clumsily heaving the liquid on Walton, who nonchalantly accepted the dousing that got his right shoulder and not much else.
