The Minnesota Vikings’ brand new stadium is offing birds at a serial killer rate — more than 60 this past migratory season — making it the worst bird-killing machine in the state aside from Kentucky Fried Chicken.

A joint report by three agencies — the Audubon Chapter of Minneapolis, the Minnesota Citizens for the Protection of Migratory Birds and the Friends of Roberts Bird Sanctuary — came up with the numbers, and estimate that roughly 500 birds per year will die from slamming into the glass roof of the stadium.
