Fantasy leagues have become an integral part of the overall experience of a fan. There’s an estimated 33 million people that play fantasy sports, and out of those, how many do you think actually keep up with their league?
Well, FNTSY Sports Network’s Tim Gilbert met up with a group of friends that have been keeping up with their fantasy league for a whopping 36 years now.
Their league started in 1980, when a magazine called Inside Sports came out. An article titled “Running Your Own Football Franchise For Fun and Profit” intrigued Tom Spear, who then recruited his friends to start their own league of six teams.
