College football free agency hit its peak this offseason, as the transfer market seemed to bustle more than it ever has. With plenty of old faces in new places, here are the 10 transfers who will have the most impact on their new FBS teams next season.
10. D.J. Jones, DT (Ole Miss)
The nation’s No. 1 scoring defense took big losses in the secondary, but will get even stronger up front with the addition of Jones. He’ll join an already stout defensive line headlined by Robert Nkemdiche, bringing his 6-foot-2, 310-pound to the middle. A 4-star DT who flipped from FSU to Ole Miss in December, Jones racked up eight sacks while leading East Mississippi Community College to an NJCAA title.
