This is how I imagine Tom Brady spending his retirement years — wandering from diner to diner, eavesdropping on fans and blowing up at anyone who mentions Deflategate. But for some reason it’s not sad at all. It makes me smile. Because so many retired players don’t have a purpose in life.
I guess you could say that in real life, though. Brady has the last laugh. That’s because he’s made Deflategate work for him. He is in essence making money off of Roger Goodell’s ridiculous vendetta built on football air pressure.
