The Detroit Tigers have released their Thursday lineup, and one name that is not listed is Miguel Cabrera.

The Tigers’ first baseman is in an all-time slump as he’s batting just .098 through 17 games with a .179 on-base percentage and a .213 slugging percentage. Jonathan Schoop is penciled in to replace him at first base.
Detroit needed extra innings against the Red Sox on Wednesday to snap a six-game losing streak. The Tigers are just 9-22 this season but what’s been most concerning is their last three wins have come in between two five-game losing streaks and a six-game losing streak.
