Well, they’re about to invade the screens of your latest cineplex next.
TriStar Pictures, owned by entertainment giant Sony, has optioned rights to turn the upcoming book The Big Game, written by Sports Illustrated scribe Albert Chen, into a film. Set to be published by Houghton-Mifflin, the book is slated for release next year.
First reported by Anita Busch of Deadline, The Big Game has been teased as “The Big Short in the world of daily fantasy sports”.
