In what’s sure to be a controversial film, a biopic documenting the rise and fall of former wrestling superstar Chris Benoit is in production. On Friday, director Lexi Alexander has been tapped to sit in the director’s chair.
A Germany native, Alexander’s work is certainly know to fans of sports and cinema. Her 2005 directorial debut, Green Street Hooligans has since become a cult classic, focusing on the violent antics of British football fans, particularly those of West Ham United.
