USC head coach Steve Sarkisian spoke publicly on Tuesday for the first time since his drunken night at Salute to Troy, expressing he will try in earnest to make some life changes.
Sarkisian said he mixed medication with alcohol on Saturday, “responded in a way that was not acceptable,” and will enter treatment. More from the Los Angeles Times’ report:
Sarkisian, when asked if he had a drinking problem, said, “No I don’t believe so. But through [Athletic Director] Pat [Haden] and through the university I’m going to find that out.
