I had never noticed this before, but the scoreboard in Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena has an interesting feature. Right above the score totals is a little box that reads “The Diff” — as in “The Difference”. In other words, if the score is 73-68 in favor of the Cavaliers, “The Diff” would be +5.
Apparently the Warriors have a new scoreboard, and when Steve Kerr was told about it after practice today, his first question was if it had “The Diff” feature, like Cleveland’s.
