North Carolina is hemorrhaging tourism dollars right now, as major sports conferences, entertainers and business concerns are lining up to haul their events out of the state. But it’s all been for a good cause. Thanks to Governor Pat McCrory and the controversial “bathroom bill” HB2, all North Carolinians have the right to obsess over where and with whom they pee.
Just like it would have said in the Bill of Rights, if Jefferson and Madison had not been in the outhouse when that part was proposed.
Simply put, the bill that McCrory signed makes it illegal to use a restroom that is not marked for your gender, as listed on your birth certificate.
