Daniel Jacobs has one of the most compelling stories in all of boxing — in 2011, the middleweight fighter was diagnosed with bone cancer and missed almost two years.
But he came back, and he dominated, defeating 10 opponents in a row and claiming the WBA and WBC Middleweight titles before losing a unanimous decision to Gennady Golovkin this March.
Jacobs is now getting back in the ring on Nov. 11, headlining a card that pits him against undefeated (18-0, 9 KOs) Luis Arias in the main event. Bonus — this is a straight HBO fight, with no PPV element to it.
