The two-week media bonanza leading up to Super Bowl Sunday is objectively stupid. No one says anything of any substance and the only reason the rest of us pay any attention is because, occasionally, an interview will crash and burn in epic fashion. Honestly, can you remember one Super Bowl Media Day moment that didn’t involve either some smoking hot Telemundo reporter or Marshawn Lynch basically telling the NFL to suck it? It’s a lose/lose for players and a fruitless venture for journalists.
Super Bowl Media Day is a complete waste of time and resources.
That being said, the geniuses over at “The Rich Eisen Show” sent Snoop Dogg up Highway One to interview a few guys who’ll be playing on Sunday, and wow, they actually said stuff.
