It looks like Thomas Chabot will be back in time to play his favorite childhood team. Chabot practiced on Tuesday taking reps with the Senators’ first-team powerplay unit. The former 18th overall pick missed Ottawa’s Game 1 win over the Canadiens on Sunday after sitting out the Senators’ loss to the Maple Leafs on Thursday with an upper-body injury. Chabot has three goals and nine points in 17 games this season and leads Ottawa logging over 25 minutes a game. No other Senator is playing more than 22, so Chabot is clearly a huge part of the team on both ends of the ice.
