The eye irritation that Kevin Kiermaier suffered on Saturday night, resulting in him leaving the game early, will keep him out of action on Sunday.

Kiermaier departed in the fifth inning of the Tampa Bay Rays 3-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays with a scratched eye, being replaced by Brett Phillips. The Rays will once again rely on Phillips in center field against the Jays, although it’s a less than ideal matchup for the left-handed batting Phillips.
The Jays are sending left-hander Hyun Jin Ryu to the mound for the third of four games.
