The Colorado Rockies will be without their second baseman for a second straight game as Ryan McMahon will need at least another day to get over some minor groin tightness.

McMahon was scratched from the lineup yesterday as Colorado completed a three-game sweep of the Texas Rangers with an 11-6 win. The Rockies two-bagger did not come off the bench in a pinch-hit situation last night, and while it’s uncertain if he’s available for this game, it would be a surprise to see him be rushed in to swing the lumber. Colorado will again have Josh Fuentes start at third base and bat cleanup for the Rockies, while Garrett Hampson will be assigned second base duties.
