Head coach Scott Brooks provided some optimism on Sunday that Westbrook might suit up Monday vs. the Bulls, but he has ultimately been ruled out for rest purposes. This game comes on the second leg of a back-to-back, and Westbrook has yet to play on both legs of a back-to-back this season.
Raul Neto has started five of the six previous games that Westbrook has missed the season, and the only exception came in a game where Neto was also out of the lineup. That means he will likely draw the start vs. the Bulls, and he’s averaged a solid 20.
