Roy Williams might have pulled the move of the offseason, and it had nothing to do with basketball.
The North Carolina head coach recently penned a letter and sent a signed team picture to Drew Summerlin, an 11-year-old from Western New York who lives with Asperger’s syndrome. Summerlin sustained a concussion and was hospitalized after bullies attacked him last month.

It’s not clear how Williams became aware of the story, but Summerlin was wearing a Tar Heels shirt during a local TV interview.
